Luca’s Pasta is a quickservice European style take out bringing to it’s patrons healthy, fresh, delicious, quick and convenient pastas and other menu items, all served in environmentally safe and convenient to go containers. The new concept focuses on the cup-a-pasta – a 26oz container conveniently fitting in one hand and holding a full, well-balanced meal.
In our present uncertain economy, Luca believes that customers are looking for a fair price without compromising their health and great taste. That’s why Luca’s offers a customizable menu with over 100 different pasta combinations and sauce influences from around the world. Customers can pick from a variety of pastas including organic, whole wheat and omega-3 and combine them with sauces and sides to suit their own individual tastes.
This new restaurant combines the convenience of fast food, the atmosphere and cuisine of a European deli, and the sustainability of a responsible “green” business. All food is served in recyclable, microwavable cups and drinks come in plastics made of corn. Luca further displays its dedication to the environment by creating a modern clean décor using such materials as environmentally safe paints and low energy lights.Situated in the University Lofts building on the corner of 6th Street and University Avenue, Luca’s is centrally located between the University of Florida and the heart of Gainesville.
